Dulcoease® doesn’t make you go, but it makes it easier and more comfortable to go!

How does Dulcoease® Stool Softener work?

Sometimes, it may hurt when you go to the toilet. But you're not alone. Many people find it painful or difficult to pass stools and the pain can be even worse if you are suffering from haemorrhoids or anal fissure.

If you experience discomfort or painful bowel movements, trust Dulcoease® to make going to the toilet more comfortable again.

Dulcoease® works by helping the stool absorb some of the body’s natural fluids, gently softening hard, dry stools and making the stool passage more comfortable. It doesn’t make you go, it just makes it easier to go.

How Dulcoease® works Quite simply, Dulcoease® works by softening your stools. Each capsule contains 100mg docusate sodium. This acts to increase the amount of water and salts absorbed by your stool by decreasing your stool's surface tension - making it softer and more comfortable to go to the toilet.
